Product License

When you buy a RunSmoothSystems product, you buy a license to use it. You do not buy the copyright. This page explains what you can and cannot do.

One business per purchase

One purchase covers one business, including all of its owners, office staff and cleaners. You can:

• Use the file for as many clients, jobs and years as you like.
• Make copies for your own backups and for each year.
• Share it with people who work for your business.
• Change anything in it: numbers, labels, colors, sheets.
• Edit, print and use the business forms (Bundle) with your own clients.

If you run more than one business, buy one license per business.

What you cannot do

• Sell, give away or share the file, the guide, the video or the forms with anyone outside your business.
• Upload them to a template marketplace, a file-sharing site or a public folder.
• Resell them as your own product, even if you changed them.
• Use them to make a competing product, template or course.
• Remove the RunSmoothSystems notices from the guide or the video.

Services

Files we set up or customize for you (Setup, Custom build) follow the same rules: one business, no resale.

Business forms are templates

The service agreement, the photo and video release and the other forms are templates, not legal advice. Laws differ by state. Have a local attorney review any form before you use it.

If the license is broken

If you share or resell a product, your license ends and you must delete all copies. We may also ask the platform hosting a copy to remove it.
